Finding Funding
First it is important to understand that the national average for recruiting one teacher is $10,000 a teacher. Your current spending already exceeds what we charge per teacher under and outsource recruiting contract. You can find funding in the following ways;
- Title II, Part A monies from the federal government were specifically designed for the purposes of "recruiting and retention"
- Local funds ear marked for "recruiting and retention".
- Technical Assistance funds.
- PDSI funds can pay for our workshops and training.
